WE HEAR YOU

The pups went to the vets today 2nd Road trip. All were very good and had fun running around in the small room where they do the hearing test. The vet was very pleased with everyone and stated what a healthy group of puppies they are. ALL six puppies are bilateral hearing and have their little ear wave papers to prove it. These two litters have been such fun. Sorry I forgot to take pics of them getting their hearing tested. We were playing puppy wranger keeping them all still and out of mischief. Alice

Romp around the house and a new puppy?

Hey Mom "There's a puppy in the oven!" A new puppy in the living room and plenty of romping around the house. I thought that all of you would enjoy seeing the puppies playing around the house. They were still full of energy at the end of a busy day so they got a treat of getting to run around the whole house for a little while.

Tug of War and stealing the toys

More Romp around the house

Candid shots of the pups playing thru out the house. They found the toys that the grandmothers brought along for them to play with.

Special Visit

This has been a very busy weekend and will continue to be a busy week. Yesterday we had two very special dals come to visit. Great Grandmommy, J'Lo, who is Hattie's Mommies mother and great grandmommy of Cher and Sonny. Also Grandmom Koie came along. Koie is Jewel's Mother and Grandmother of the four NUA kids. J'Lo is the one smiling into the camera and Koie is smiling sitting beside J'Lo. The Grandmothers will be here for a week visiting their grandbabies. They brought all their favorite toys and are sharing them with the grandkids who are having a good time with all.

First Road Trip

All loaded in the van. No easy task! We are going to get our microchips implanted. Since the vet is a friend we will meet him at handling class and everyone can make all over us. We only cried for a minute then lay down in our crates and were good puppies. No one got sick (van sick) and we all got lots of kisses and hugs. People were glad to meet the NUA puppies and said that they were dalmatians and couldn't tell who was who. As always Cher had to take the spot light and make sure she got most of the attention.

Getting Ready for Our New Homes

One of the puppies is trying out his new travel bag. He thinks it's cool. Yes, its Ciro who will be traveling a long distance to his new home and boy is he excited that he has a new family to love him. He is a special boy going to a special family that have promised to keep him happy and busy.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY FROM THE PUPPIES

Though we didn't go to any parties we had a great time today. The pups enjoyed their first time out side on the grass while I painted the floor of the front porch.
NO we did not get paint on the pups! It was tan paint and I don't think it would have gone with their black spots. The pups are growing and learning a lot. Having fun and going thru all the new experiences that puppies should. They have now been on grass, wood, cloth, rubber, concert, and wood chips. This pass week has been full of surprises for me too. THEY ARE ESCAPE ARTISTS. The other morning I was sleeping and I heard a puppy crying. It seemed close but I thought it was in the front bedroom where Hattie and her two were sleeping. Then though my sleepy brain(it was 6am) it seemed very close. I open one eye and looked down at the floor there sat CHER. She jumped up and wagged her tail and looked at me. Some how she had gotten out of the pen in the front room and found where I was sleeping! DO WE HAVE A TRACKING DOG IN THE MAKING? or is it that she just likes to eat?
I am surprised and pleased with how everyone is turning out. Their set up shots this week are even better and they are all so smart. They have been a joy to have and they give great kisses. So we are sending puppy kisses and puppy breath to all of you who have been watching us grow.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY MORE CHANGES

When you see our pics this week we have "Tail Shots" We do these to show the width between the rear legs which gives the evaluators an idea of structure and future movement. Nancy tied the ribbon on Ciro's tail but he wasn't happy about it. They all enjoyed the mixture of yogurt and peanut butter on a spoon. After their day out side they came back in to a new set up of their box. They are all now sleeping together and have a new play area with wood chips. Wood chips are easier to clean and keep the pups cleaner. They have now been on 6 different surfaces and are doing well adjusting to all the changes. We want to wish all of you a Happy 4th of July. Enjoy the pics especially the tail shots :)
